Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Movie worth watching. A must watch I would say!
I’m not a gr8 fan of animated movies all my life coz of my very own belief that animation stuffs are something like flight of the imagination and beyond the reality, and im basically not a fantasy lover @ al ;) This film made me feel that im wrong.

Last week v both (mi nd hubby) accompanied by another couple had been to this movie. I was damn tired after a long day of roaming (especially during hot summer day) and so I was not much excited, infact I thot I wud sleep in t theatre. I somehow had a feeling that it wud mainly attract the children and to my surprise teens and adults made up half the audience on sat night. It drew well among teenagers. Okies, lets get into t review:

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa (2008) is the sequel to the Madagascar (2005), produced by DreamWorks Animation. The sequel started with showing a small part of Alex's early life, including his capture by hunters. Then it moves to shortly after the point where the original left off, with the animals deciding to return to New York. They board an airplane on Madagascar, but crash-land in Africa, where each of the central characters meets others of the same species; Alex is reunited with his parents. Problems arise, and their resolution occupies much of the remainder of the movie.

Here I need to mention abt certain aspects of the film; first, the dialogue delivery was so perfect that it captivated the attention strongly. Next, the facial expressions, Man! that was so natural; it was like normal human expressions. I burst out laughing half the time and it was really soothing to watch such a flick.

I really loved the dialogues and I cud jus go on and on.. Especially 1 of the dialogues that flash across is when the pilot communicates to the passenger’s abt their landing like;
U’ve 1 gud news nd 1 bad news, the gud news is tat vr LANDING nd the bad news is tat vr CRASH LANDING” Whew..i so much enjoyed it..
As a matter of fact I wud love to watch this movie for umpteen no. of times ;)

Titbits

Actually, I don’t wanna miss out writing down the happenings, so jus a titbits :)

Our thala diwali : Man! I so much missed India, being with my family & Friends! Missed all the fun nd frolics! This is our 1st diwali after marriage, so I was quite excited. Right from the start, I mean from dress purchase it started! Purchasing Indian attire from Melbourne owned Indian shop is so terrible I say! I’m sure the profit % is just above average one cud least expect! Den no crackers, nothing. wats tis diwali wit out crackers! sighhh.. Alltogether it went well wit my dear hubby :)

Movies: I watched tis movie Vaaranam Ayiram and I felt y shd I have wasted t money simply. Unbearable s what I can al say! I never expected such a work from Gowtham Menon who was in my list of “DON'T MISS”... Right from the start til t end nobody understood what the story is! At least I did not: / Not worth a penny :(

I wud dedicate a separate post for the film which I totally enjoyed watching...

Karthigai deepam went well with al the delicacies.

There are also so many other things, but I cud not pen down all of ‘em now. So I wud release it soon:)

Ooh My My! I jus don hav words 2 express how i felt while doin tis!

Few of My sketches!

Atleast i started doin it agn :) my fav hobby Sketching!

Fairy angel tat i loved ;)

I tried Ash, but in Vain :D

Y 'm i lik tis??!!!

After a longggg time! My Gosh..Its been so long since I posted something in my blog. Not tat I’m very busy, coz ‘m total vetti; not tat I don’t have anything to write infact I have had so much of happenings in t past few months, But still y y y??!! I don’t have answers! Fyn! Hereafter I have decided 2 pen down often.

I feel so bad tat I have lost t habit of one of my favourite hobbies, yes! I love writing (at least scribbling something, which I always do; when im happy, sad bla bla bla.. ) So I’m back to the form!

LIFE CAN BE GOOD...

How true !!!!
I'm really impressed by t words..
Beauty Is In The Eyes Of The Beholder!

Attempt of Mushroom curry

I hate mushrooms. Oohh Yea...i mean it. I can under no circumstances have mushrooms. But wat 2 do my dear hubby love it & so I had 2 do experiments with it. Our conversation in supermarket went like tis:

Hubby: dear!!! Y don’t u try mushroom curry once... u know I love it...

Me :( Thinking tat I hate it) oohh yea I’ll try it once 4r u pa...

He: Oohhh gudddd…den vll buy it now...

Me: Sure :) y not!!!

So finally t day arrived; st’day I started preparing myself 4r dinner… I decided 2 make roti and mushroom curry. Gawddd… I by no means can stand t smell of mushroom but I relaxed myself sayin its 4r Ur dear hubby nd jus go ahead!!! I followed t recipe from net (resulted after countless no. of recipes clarification). I’m successfully done!!!
The recipe goes like tis:

  • Fry onion + ginger + garlic and make a thick paste of them without using any water.
Make a paste of tomatoes and green chilies and keep aside
  • Fry some Jeera in a little oil/butter and then add the above onion paste and fry it again till golden brown.
  • To this add the tomato paste (tinned) + blended tomato chili paste + garam masala and fry nicely until all is well blended.
  • Toss in mushrooms for a few seconds and then add milk and cook with stirring here and there until oil separates.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

I did exactly t same as in t recipe (rit from t ingredients to mtd). But dunno how it turned out (I dint even touch it) lol…

Conversation while havin dinner ;

Me: looking @ his (bizarre) reactions (sighhhh…) hwz it like??

He: Yea dear it’s really nice!!!

Me: wink wink...Oohh is it (I dint touch it tho’) Fyn.

He: But…

Me: But wat??!!!

He: Something has gone astray.. May b I don lik tis garam masala..(god knows wat!!!)

Me: May b mushroom is bland...Arghhh...

He: No I have tasted it many times but tis s quite different!!

Me: k have it if u like or jus leave it…

He: Anyway, i like ur effort , thanxx ..

Me: My pleasure :)

Finished the dinner and while washin t utensils, here agn t conversation;

Me: Pheww.. I cudn seriously stand t smell of mushrooms dear.. Ore naarardhu!!

He: Adhalam neeya pudhikhadhunu mudivu pannitadhala… otherwise nanna dan irukum!!!

Me: I feel like vomiting…

He: Weird.. adhalam onnumillae…

Me: Seriously…I cudn even stand here after washing t mushrooms..

He: annoyed…Better u stop cooking mushrooms from now on !!!!

Huhh..Pleased!!! I don wanna try tis agn..lolzzz :)

“The temple of our purest thoughts is silence”

I’m hardly serious in my thoughts. But certain things r worth being serious and there lies my subject matter now. St’day v happened to visit Shri Siva-Vishnu temple here in Melbourne. It’s only in south India where people divide Siva and Vishnu as different categories. This temple was built by Hindu Society of Victoria and being managed by Hindus 2ghtr. I cudn c any discrimination between Siva and Vishnu wer t poojas r performed in t same place jus a metres apart unlike our Indian temples. It was really soothing. Imagine when it can happen here y not der???

We go to temple only to worship god den wer does al dese distinction crop up??? And y has to??? Isn’t it worth thinking??!!! This s jus not 4r an argument sake, or to deliberately hurt any1, tis s something that really made me think seriously!!!

P.S: This is jus my observation!!!

My first post!!!!! (No spl info tho')

Ooollaaahhh...here I’m @last!!!!
I 'av been wanting 2 create a blog since my college. But it jus happened. Happy tat it has @least hapnd now!!hihi..:)'tis s mi..Actually I had a trance of so many stuffs while creatin a blog., but once i did., i dint kno wat 2 (do)write!!
